MultiSport Index: Czechs and Sport
A unique publication mapping the relationship of Czech women and men with physical activity
Are you interested in how Czechs relate to physical activity? How much time and money they invest in exercise and sport? Or which sports they take part in most often? The MultiSport Index publication answers all these and many other questions, based on an annual survey.
“The results of this year’s Index show that physical activity and prevention are no longer niche topics. They are becoming a natural part of how we think about health and quality of life. Czechs are increasingly aware that an active and healthy life does not happen by chance, but through everyday movement and conscious care for one’s health.
At the same time, however, we can see that motivation alone is not enough. Rising costs of sport and lack of time highlight how important it is to have an environment that supports a healthy lifestyle. Employers, in particular, can play a key role here by helping people not only to get started, but also to stay consistent.
Our goal is therefore to create conditions in which physical activity becomes a natural and easily accessible choice. We believe that this is how movement becomes one of the strongest tools of prevention and long-term vitality, making a significant contribution to the health of society as a whole.”

We have long been working with the research agency NMS Market Research on the survey. Thanks to this partnership, this year once again brings a current and unique insight into how Czech women and men perceive the importance of physical activity in their lives and the ways in which it affects them.
